generationNOW Studios Now Open!

Nothing is going to stop these kids from reaching the world for Jesus! – Pastor Jim Bakker

generationNOW IS IN THE NEW STUDIO!

24 hours a day, 7 days a week the creative minds of the Master’s Media team will be able to produce full length television programs. Short YouTube vignettes. Special concerts. Intimate times of teaching. Video Bible studies. Whatever the team can think up, they can produce in their new state-of-the-art studios at the Tabernacle at Morningside.

A special ribbon cutting ceremony was held this afternoon at the Tabernacle studio to launch the network into the world. generationNOW is the first television network in the world connected to Master’s Media.

Starting Monday, the Master’s Media team will begin production at the new studio of their first weekly half-hour program aimed at reaching young adults on subjects that most Christian shows won’t even touch. The program will not only stream on the generationNOW website but will also air on multiple Christian television stations around the world who have been actively seeking programs to reach a young adult audience.

The studio opening was celebrated with a gathering of supporters who made the studios possible with their financial gifts. Pastor Jim Bakker, Lori Bakker, Tammy Sue Bakker and other special guests sang, danced and prayed over the new studio. Tammy Sue Bakker and Kevin Shorey led those in attendance in a rocking round of songs.

Then the Master’s Choir under the direction of Pastor Cedric Hayes brought the house down! The Choir will forever have the distinct honor of being the first performing group to earn a standing ovation during a broadcast at the generationNOW studio.

Jim Bakker along with Lori Bakker and Philip Cameron cut the ribbon to officially open the studios.

“What this act of cutting a ribbon and opening a network is saying yet again to the church is that we can reach further, higher, wider than our forefathers ever dreamed of. We can flip a switch in Blue Eye, Missouri and talk to someone behind the bamboo curtain in China,” Philip Cameron said.

Jim Bakker prayed, cut the yellow ribbon and then declared: “The generationNOW network is officially open!”
